Urgent Care Centre

If necessary, you may be invited to attend the urgent care centre based at New Mills Health Centre, Hyde Bank Road, New Mills (The Health Centre is situated on the left just past New Mills Leisure Centre) or you may be visited at home.

Opening hours are as follows:

• Monday to Friday, 18:30 – 22:00
• Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 09:30 – 22:00

Out of Hours Service

If you think you may need to see a doctor out of hours, telephone 111.

When patients call 111 they will be assessed, given advice and directed straightaway to the local service that can help them best – that could be an out-of-hours doctor, a walk-in centre, community nurse, emergency dentist or late opening chemist.

NHS 111 is available online, or by calling, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and calls from landlines and mobile phones are free.
