The NHS app shows all your repeat medication and the dosage, it is much easier to order your medication using the NHS app.

You can also:

  • fill out a repeat prescriptions request form
  • hand the completed repeat prescription slip to reception

Any patient on a repeat prescription may request drugs that appear on the repeat prescription slip without seeing the doctor until a specified review date.

We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone at the practice as this can lead to mistakes.

Collecting your prescription

Information:

Most requests for medication are sent electronically to the pharmacist and this can take up to 5 days before the medication is ready for collection at the pharmacy.

Paper medication requests for collection can take up to 3 days to be processed by the practice.
Green paper prescriptions can take up to 3 days to be processed by the Pharmacy.
