Citizens Advice Mid Mercia, with the support of Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council, operate a free information and advice service for Derbyshire County’s and Derby City autistic community. Their goal is to provide timely and accessible information about the support and services available to any autistic person in Derbyshire County and Derby City, as well as their friends, families and carers.

“It was brought to our attention that those with a hidden disability were struggling to get access to a lanyard, as supermarkets and the like had run out. Therefore, we are now pleased to say we have been able to purchase 500 lanyards, and have partnered with other organisations who are acting as a pick up point for the lanyard. The Autism Alliance is a quarterly peer support group for individuals living with Autism, their parents, carers, family members and friends, as well as professionals working in the area of Autism support. The group is currently meeting over Zoom and is open to residents of both Derbyshire County and Derby City.
In addition to the quarterly meetings, the group also hosts a series of special events throughout the year.
